When Natasha Fuller walked into Jodi Schmidt’s first grade classroom, she didn’t know it would change her life. Eight-year-old Natasha has suffered with kidney disease since birth. The dialysis she has to go through can prevent her from living a normal, carefree life with her friends. Inspired by Natasha’s positive attitude and charming smile, Jodi knew she had to do something, so she decided to donate a healthy kidney to the little girl.
